A Night At The Hoxton | Shoreditch

I visited  The Hoxton in Shoreditch last year for a blogger event with Nutribrex and loved how different the styling and feel of the hotel was. Robbie remembered me mentioning the hotel, so decided to treat me for a New Years stay to celebrate the end of a great year. Its too much of a beautiful hotel to not share with you, so of course I snapped away and thought I’d do a but of a ‘photo diary’ for you all…

THE HOTEL

The first thing you notice about The Hoxton is the decór, its so different from any other hotel I’ve stayed in before, and I love the chilled out vibe! With 2 large open fires either side in the front lounge area, and also a mountain of books with a huge comfy sofa, it really does have more of a ‘home from home’ kind of vibe. The staff were super friendly and its in a great location, walking distance from Old Street tube station and only a short walk to Spitalfields market for a bit of shopping!

THE ROOM

We stayed in a ‘Cosy Double’ room which was perfect for 1 night. A Roberts radio, tea & coffee and plenty of space for 2, I also loved the additional touches like ‘Hi Beautiful’ of the inside of the mug as I drank my morning cuppa, too cute! When we arrived the receptionist gave us a paper bag each that you could leave on a hook outside the room if you wanted a complimentary breakfast to wake up to. Since we’d been celebrating New Years the night before, I knew I’d need something refreshing first thing so it was amazing to wake up to a freshly squeezed orange juice, a banana and a granola yoghurt for the first day of 2017!

THE HOXTON GRILL

We saw the New Year through in the Hoxton Grill with lots of Prosecco, Cocktails and Gin (I didn’t take my camera for obvious reasons) but the food was lovely and the atmosphere was exactly what we had hoped for! As much as the complimentary breakfast was lovely, it definitely wasn’t enough to keep us full until we got home, so when we checked out at 12, we headed on down to the Hoxton Grill for some brunch! Robbie went for a Full Breakfast whilst I opted for Avocado and Poached Egg on Sour Dough Toast, of course all washed down with some good ol’ English Breakfast Tea!

I’d definitely stay here again, I’d even checked out The Hoxton Amsterdam for our upcoming stay in February but unfortunately it was a little out of my price range! I hope you all had a wonderful time celebrating the start of 2017, I’m excited for whats to come!
