Preparing Your Home For The Festive Season

“It’s the most wonderful time of the year” I am such a kid at Christmas time, I love having time off work with family and friends to just recoup and relax. It’s so nice to spend quality time with the people you love and I love decorating my house for the festive season. This will be our 4th Christmas in our house and its been a bit of a tradition that I always have my girlfriends round on Christmas Eve for drinks and nibbles so I like to make sure they feel at home and festive 🙂

Acorn Decorations | Silver Bell Decorations | Silver Beads | Jewelled Pear Decorations | Clear Jewel Decorations | Gold Glitter Leaf

We got a few new Christmas decorations this year so I thought I’d show you all the theme we’ve gone for this year (I say ‘we’ but Robbie couldn’t care less, scrooge!) I have tried to stick with whites/silvers this year with warm white fairy lights. I love the pear and acorn decorations, they’re so cute and add a touch of sparkle to my tree whilst the silver beads and bells are more classic and add a more traditional Christmas touch, the perfect mix of decorations! I can’t wait to have a bigger house so we can have a bigger tree with even MORE decorations 🙂

This The White Company Candle is literally the definition of Christmas, the scent is called ‘Winter’ and is a mix of cinnamon & cloves with a touch of orange, if you haven’t smelt it already then you HAVE to go and check it out. This will definitely be a candle I purchase every Christmas now to make my house smell lovely and festive 🙂

Which are your favourite decorations? Also, don’t forget to enter my Christmas Giveaway here where you can win £30 vouchers, Ted Baker, Benefit & MORE. All you have to do is follow me on Instagram, Twitter and Bloglovin’ to be in with a chance of winning! Good luck 🙂

You've found such beautiful decorations! And photographed them so nicely, as well! Everything looks so gorgeous. I bet it's such a nice evening with your friends on Christmas Eve – pretty decorations, good company, food and drinks? Sounds lovely!
